• 2020-02
  GNA received an emergency bridge loan from the Arizona Health Department. They will be able to stay open for at least three more months (Jul Aug Sep).

• 2020-01
  GNA is forced to close the shelter portion of their program on June 30th due to lack of funding. Their other programs will continue. The path program and the rapid re-housing program will still be available for our friends.

• 2021-01
  Effective immediately, there is a 90 day moratorium set for any returning friends. After prayer and thought, By unanimous vote of the St Vincent de Paul Executive board, this change is being put into place so that we can help more people. As you heard at our meeting, there is only $12,500 available for rent as well as 12,500 for utilities in the United Way Covid funds. Most likely the amount is less after current approved cases still have to be deducted. We have 60 days to use the last of these United Way funds and by extending the time between approved assistance to 90 DAYS, It will allow us to spread the wealth to more people. We cannot keep it at 60 days or we will surely see that the money will be used up faster than we expect. Please carefully review the friends file that 90 days have passed since we last approved any assistance for a special case. Again, 60 days no longer applies. This is effective immediately. Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Please sign the paper at the conference that you have read and understand the modification. This will ensure everyone who works at the conference is aware and has acknowledged the change. Thank you and many blessings, Pauline
